By plane

The larger cities in Florida are served by busy airports:

  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale.

  • Jacksonville International Airport in Jacksonville

  • Miami International Airport in Miami

  • Orlando International Airport, is located south of DowntownHyatt Regency Orlando International Airport Orlando. The airport offers transportation, shuttles, car rentals. Disney World offers free transportation from the airport to Disney World for visitors

  • Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach

  • Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers

  • Tampa International Airport in Tampa.

By train

In Sanford, the southern Terminus of the Amtrak Auto Train carries passengers and automobiles between Sanford and Lorton, Virginia, effectively serving as a car-rail link to Florida from the Washington, DC Metro Area. Amtrak also offers limited passenger service to Jacksonville, Orlando and other large cities in Florida.

By car

If you're looking to drive in, the three main interstate highways are I-95, I-75, and I-10 if you're coming from the Northeast, Midwest, and West/Southwest respectively.
